Commission readies RFP for permanent Cedar Street sculpture

"Then there's people who wanna get rid of all the bulb out stuff. If they decide to get rid of those...then at least we have this piece that won't be taken away because it's on the corner of 2nd and Cedar," one commissioner said.
Staff and commissioners agreed to proceed with the RFP, to coordinate site logistics with public-works staff, and to identify design and installation timelines in coming weeks.
