Chairwoman Ellie Sosnes reported that the historic-walking-tour brochure has been printed (5,000 copies) and that initial distribution has begun to the museum and chamber. Commissioners discussed securing racks, placing brochures in bridge racks and partnering with regional offices that previously displayed the material.
The commission agreed to add distribution to the POAC business meeting agenda and to identify additional local distribution points; staff and a commissioner offered to bring copies to the hospital and other visitor hubs. The commission noted the brochures were self-funded through advertising and that additional rack placements would improve visitor access.
