The commission reviewed a summer update on public-art installations and discussed ways to raise public awareness of new works.
Chairwoman Ellie Sosnes listed new installations (utility-box wraps by Lee Harris and Dave Gonzo, Herons by Maria Larson) and noted sponsors for several pieces. Commissioners proposed a press release, a map or infographic showing locations, and updating a walking-tour app to promote the installations.
Staff liaison Bill Dean and commissioners volunteered to prepare materials and to route a press release for approval. Commissioner Rick (joined by Zoom) and others offered to assist with photographed assets for a PocketSites walking-tour update.
