The Moody ISD Board of Trustees voted July 14 to set paid lunch prices for the 2025–26 school year at $3.10 for middle school meals and $3.35 for high school meals. Newman moved to set the prices; Goodwin seconded, and trustees Alton, Fairey, Flynn, Foster, Goodwin, Newman and Smith voted in favor.
Superintendent Andrew Miller had earlier told trustees the district will receive certified property values from each county by July 25; the district plans to finalize revenue projections and the budget next month. The lunch-price decision was taken as part of the consent action agenda and recorded without dissent.
