The Moody Independent School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously July 14 to approve the revised 2025–2026 Compensation Plan. Board member Newman moved to approve the revision; Goodwin seconded, and trustees Alton, Fairey, Flynn, Foster, Goodwin, Newman and Smith registered votes in favor.
Board members discussed the revision as part of routine consent business; the vote came as the district awaits certified property values due from each county by July 25, which Superintendent Andrew Miller said will be used to finalize revenue projections and next month’s proposed budget. The approval clears the plan to be implemented for the upcoming school year.
