Waterloo trustees approve routine minutes, treasurer's report and department quotes

Chairperson Travis Harlow called the Village of Waterloo Board of Trustees to order at 7:00 p.m. and the board approved the June 8 and June 9, 2026 meeting minutes and June's Treasurer's Report on motions by Trustee David Rochford and seconds by Bill Rotert. Trustees present—Harlow, Rotert, Rochford and Corie Sass—voted yes; Trustee Nikki Ewing was absent.
The board voted to place quotes from Holiday Lights of Omaha and Premier Lighting on file and approved using smart beacons for the village alarming system. The motions were recorded as passed on roll-call votes with no dissent among those present. The clerk will retain copies of the filed quotes and maintenance documentation.
