The Gordon County Planning Commission approved a conditional use permit for Black Bear Poultry LLC on July 13, allowing construction of one poultry house measuring approximately 55 ft. by 600 ft. on a portion of a 156.47-acre property on Taylortown Road in Ranger.
Chairman Randy Rule read the application for CUP-26-3, naming co-applicants Andy Cole, Salmon Timberland LLC, and Timberland Investment Resources. Commissioner Jerry Lovelace moved to approve the permit with the conditions recommended by the Road Department and Fire Department and requiring that all necessary permits be obtained; Tommy Hibberts seconded. "All voted aye." The motion carried and the conditional use permit was approved.
