Mission CISD discusses board operating procedures in executive session; no action taken

Mission Consolidated Independent School District trustees moved into executive session at 6:46 p.m. for a private consultation with the board attorney and to deliberate personnel matters and board operating procedures under Texas Government Code provisions.
President Iris Iglesias announced the board would consider three executive-session items: (1) private consultation with the board attorney under Texas Gov't Code §551.071; (2) deliberations concerning appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of a public officer or employee under Texas Gov't Code §551.074; and (3) discussion and development of the Mission CISD Board Operating Procedures. After returning to open session at 7:58 p.m., Superintendent Dr. Cris Valdez stated, "Item one Discussion and Adoption of the Mission CISD Board Operating Procedures, no action at this time." The board did not adopt or change its operating procedures during the Nov. 21 meeting.
No formal personnel action or attorney-directed action was announced in open session. The board adjourned at 7:59 p.m.
