Miss Wallace, a town staff member, told the council that building-permit processing is being moved to Old Town Hall under staff supervision and that the town is working to enable credit-card and check payments at that location. She said staff cannot accept payments there yet but are working to complete that capability.
Wallace said the town issued a building permit this week to the Hillier Volunteer Fire Department to begin the plumbing phase of upstairs renovations that were funded by council allocations. She also reported attendance at a water-training workshop and said the town will schedule additional CPR classes after a successful session with a waiting list.
