City presents $2,000 check to Clear Creek Environmental Foundation in recognition of waterway work

The Mayor and City Council of Nassau Bay publicly recognized the Clear Creek Environmental Foundation Feb. 9 for work maintaining the health of local waterways and presented the organization with a $2,000 check.
Mark Denman and Lloyd Thornton accepted the check and were thanked by Mayor Philip Johnson and Councilmembers for the foundation’s role in the Clear Lake and Clear Creek area. The presentation was part of the meeting’s appointments, proclamations and presentations section; no formal action beyond acceptance of the check was recorded.
