Navarro ISD board approves consent agenda and several administrative measures by unanimous votes

The board approved the consent agenda (minutes, vendor lists, contracts and tuition rates) 7–0 and took unanimous votes to approve the design-development concepts, superintendent evaluation rubric, and a new DAEP administrator position; the Guadalupe Appraisal District resolution passed 6–0 with one abstention.
Trustees approved a multi-item consent agenda that included minutes from April 28, 2025 meetings, HVAC maintenance and service agreements, vendor lists for facilities and transportation, food-service equipment maintenance vendors, RFP #24-010 for depository services, tuition rate for non-resident students for 2025–26, and other routine procurement and maintenance items. Board member Lacey Gosch moved to approve the consent agenda; Donna Gilliam seconded. The motion passed 7–0.
In separate action items, the board unanimously approved design development concepts for Jr. High and High School refresh projects and authorized the architect to proceed to 100% construction documents; approved the Superintendent Evaluation Metrics Rubric; and approved creation of a DAEP Administrator position. The board also recorded a 6–0 vote with one abstention on a resolution supporting the Guadalupe Appraisal District's purchase and renovation of 216 E. College Street.
