Architects from O'Connell Robertson presented design-development concepts for refresh projects at the Junior High and High School. The package included converting the Jr. High library into additional instructional space, creating access to the MDF room from a hallway, new plumbing for a staff restroom, corridor revitalization, and finish upgrades at the high school including new lighting, flooring and interior/exterior signage.
Board member Joel Frederick moved to approve the design development concepts and to authorize the architect to proceed to 100% construction documents. Dan Reinhard seconded the motion and the board voted unanimously 7–0 to approve the motion. The action authorizes the architect to finalize construction documents necessary for bidding and permitting.
