President Timothy H. Owens announced that the Village of New Milford will hold a Victory Park grand opening on June 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. He told the committee the event will include crafters and entertainment vendors and that pavilion reservation documents will be posted on the Village website when available.
Resident Mark Farbo told the board that Unicorn Fluff Candy Company offered to donate time and provide free cotton candy during the celebration. Trustee Deanna Rodgers said she will look into entertainment options and Trustee Julie Wagner offered to advertise event details on the Holcomb Bank sign. Rockford Park District is assisting with pavilion rentals and will provide reservation documents online, President Owens said.
