On April 28, 2025, the Board of Trustees of Navarro Independent School District convened a budget workshop at the Intermediate School cafeteria in Seguin. Board President Melissa Sartain called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM and confirmed a quorum; Trustee Lacey Gosch joined at 6:03 PM. The session consisted of an informational budget briefing and no formal actions.
NISD Chief Financial Officer Paul Neuhoff presented the district's preliminary projections for the 2025–26 budget. According to the presentation summary, the projections addressed tax collection estimates, funding elements and property valuations, maintenance and operations costs, and anticipated growth and enrollment increases. Neuhoff also summarized total fund balances for the district's interest-and-sinking fund and child nutrition services.
