The Board approved the Guaranteed Maximum Price Amendment for Package No. 3 for the New Athletics Project, which includes a turf field, premium seating, home and visitor field houses with amenities, baseball and softball complexes, and an eight-court enclosed tennis facility. Bartlett Cocke and LPA Architects presented final renderings before the Board voted to approve the GMP amendment and to authorize the Superintendent to negotiate and execute the final documents.
GMP 3 included a site and drainage cost breakout of $3,945,349, lower than the previously budgeted $4,500,000; the Board was told the difference will be returned to the district for other 2021 Bond projects. Joel Frederick moved for approval and the motion passed 7-0.
