The Village of New Milford board unanimously approved renewals of six liquor licenses at a special meeting on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. President Timothy H. Owens called the meeting to order at 6:25 p.m.; the board voted in favor of the renewals with all members present voting yes.
President Timothy H. Owens presented the license renewals for New Mill Tap, INC at 6935 11th Street Unit 16; New Milford Express, INC at 6539 11th Street; JJ’s Deli and Spirits, INC at 6935 11th Street Unit 14; The Filling Station of New Milford, INC at 6259 11th Street; and Frankie’s Pizzeria, LLC at 6935 11th Street Unit 1. Committee member Ron Colvin moved to approve all licenses; Committee member Deanna Rodgers seconded the motion. The transcript records that “all present voted in favor,” a 9-0 tally among those recorded as present (Timothy H. Owens, Jessica Lang, Ron Colvin, Eileen Owens, Deanna Rodgers, Wendy Roop, Julie Wagner, Jim Stevens and Kevin Bunge). Dan Wolf was noted as absent, excused.
Earlier in the meeting, Committee member Wendy Roop moved to adopt the agenda; Ron Colvin seconded and the board approved the agenda unanimously. No members of the public spoke during the public discussion portion.
