Maplewood council to revise Chapter 10 language; no ordinance vote at work session

At the close of the Aug. 11 work session Mayor Greenberg summarized suggested edits and asked staff to incorporate council and public input into the final ordinance language. "We will incorporate the suggestions in the final language," Mayor Greenberg said, and staff will return with clarified setbacks, water-source placement, permit requirements and potential grandfathering language.
The council did not take a vote on the ordinance during the work session. The only formal action recorded was a procedural motion to adjourn: a council member moved to adjourn and another seconded; the presiding officer called for the vote and the motion carried. The meeting paused and the regular council meeting was set to reconvene approximately five minutes later.
