Public commenters praise EMS, urge civility in supervisor search and propose term limits

Several residents used the privilege of the floor to address the board. One resident offered personal thanks for a rapid EMS response and named Joe Connolly and an EMT (Michelle) for exemplary care. "Joe Connolly came to the bar where I was... and, about 5 minutes he got there," the speaker said, describing the subsequent hospital care provided.
Beth Marr asked that the community give the next supervisor a chance and urged civility during the hiring process. Bruce Ash asked whether the board would publish letters of interest or allow applicants to speak publicly; staff cautioned that applicant privacy is typical and that invitational models exist where finalists can meet the community. Bob Nessel urged the board to consider term limits for elected officials, citing past long tenures and offering to research models for implementation.
