Turner said the variance aims for an updated, visually appealing sign and that the homeowners association would maintain the sign and surrounding landscaping.
Councilperson Dusty Kalkomey moved to approve the requested variance, Councilperson Phillip Wigginton seconded, and the council voted unanimously to approve. The minutes record that the variance passed without recorded conditions beyond HOA maintenance of the sign and landscape.
