The Board of Awards approved a one‑year extension of an injury prevention and wellness contract for the Danbury Fire Department with First Response Health and Wellness at a proposed annual cost of $30,000, Purchasing Agent Charles J. Volpe reported.
Volpe said the prior one‑year contract for the Fire Department had been $29,800 and expired June 30, 2026; Deputy Chief S. McGee moved to extend the award at the proposed $30,000 annual rate, Mr. D. Garrick seconded, and the motion carried unanimously.
