The City of Danbury Board of Awards on Aug. 12 unanimously approved a one‑year extension of background‑screening services with AccuSourceHR, Inc., keeping the vendor’s current terms and conditions through May 14, 2027, Purchasing Agent Charles J. Volpe told the board.
Volpe said the original two‑year agreement had expired May 14, 2026, and the executed contract allowed for up to three one‑year renewals; Mrs. V. Werner moved to approve the extension and Mr. D. Garrick seconded. The board’s action was recorded as carried unanimously. The extension is contingent on execution of a contract amendment.
