ZBA president to resign; neighborhood watch meeting and liquor-license timeline announced

President Timothy H. Owens reported that Kurt Rodgers, president of the Zoning Board of Appeals, will be resigning and that steps are being taken to fill his position until elections in April. The minutes do not record who will serve in the interim, only that the vacancy will be addressed ahead of April elections.
Owens also noted that liquor licenses issued to area businesses will expire on April 1, 2025; renewal applications were distributed and must be returned by March 25, 2025. A special board meeting to review renewal applications is scheduled for March 26, 2025 at 6:25 p.m. Owens said Deanna Rodgers will report on neighborhood watch matters and the next neighborhood watch meeting is scheduled for Feb. 19, 2025 at 6:30 p.m.
