Village engineers and trustees updated the committee Feb. 25 on several items tied to Victory Park. Engineer Adam Bunge said he submitted photos to FastSigns and requested replacement for a sign that was not properly installed, and that CES submitted a job-detail list for additional work at the park. Dan Wolf reported the park signs are being prepared for a minimal fee.
The board also reviewed proposed locations for a portable toilet and a water fountain at Victory Park; Adam Bunge said potential placements were submitted to the board for review. President Timothy H. Owens said the grand-opening date is still being determined in coordination with the Rockford Park District. The board indicated final purchasing and vendor choices (including a quote for a handicap-accessible portable toilet from Satellite Industries Inc.) will be considered at a future meeting before any vote.
