The Nederland ISD Board voted Sept. 8 to sanction 4-H as an extracurricular activity and to grant adjunct staff status to specified adult supervisors under documented agreements. Mr. Mosley moved and Ms. Isom seconded; the motion carried 7-0.
Dr. Kieschnick confirmed that adjunct adults had completed background checks. Trustee Tonya Mitchell asked whether the sanction would affect attendance; Dr. Kieschnick confirmed it would count for attendance purposes.
