Resch provided detailed caseload figures: "The District is currently serving 846 special education students," she said, adding there were 70 new pending referrals, 473 students enrolled in 504 programs, 344 students receiving speech services and 149 students identified on the autism spectrum. The board did not take action; the report was informational.
