The council approved a community planning survey developed by the Planning Task Force and Marcy from Southwest; the survey will be distributed with water bills in January and is expected to be returned by Feb. 7 or Feb. 14. Mike Botelho reported the task force will include a code on a flyer to take residents directly to the SurveyMonkey page and asked Clerk Anne Heywood to send weekly reminders to encourage participation.
On utilities, Mike Mumper said Merritt Engineering is working on the project plan for the water project on Creek. Installation of a new pump is pending AEP placing fiberglass over lines outside the pump house, after which the new pump can be installed.
Council also agreed to keep a separate survey for the proposed public safety building so that planning for that facility can proceed on a different timeline.
