Commissioners approve consent agenda including $4.3M in warrants and purchase orders for county services

Jason Horn presented the purchasing and warrants summary: he said the total purchase order count was nine for approximately $141,053, with about $74,000 (roughly 53%) for Golden Spike Event Center improvements and $41,000 (about 29%) for IT security software. The warrant summary reported roughly $4.3 million in warrants; Horn identified top warrant amounts as a roughly $1,300,000 ARPA disbursement for the Promontory Commerce Center public infrastructure project, $773,000 to Ogden City Corporation, $424,000 to the Weber Fire District and additional amounts to local partners.
After presentation and a brief opportunity for questions, a motion to approve the consent items was moved and seconded and carried by voice vote.
The consent package also included approvals and recommendations ranging from surplus equipment disposals and new business licenses to tax-review committee items and contracts for indigent defense and interagency equipment placement.
