Douglas County hires interim assistant jail administrator, retools accounting job slots and adopts Minnesota Paid Leave policy

On a separate motion, the board approved a new county policy to comply with the Minnesota Paid Leave requirement under MN Statute 268B. The vote on the paid-leave policy was 4–1 (Yes — Kalina, Meyer, Rapp, Schmidt; No — Way). All personnel actions and policy changes were recorded in the meeting minutes.
