Douglas County accepts $15,200 in donations for veterans vehicles and $200 in food gift cards

The board also adopted Resolution 25-90 accepting four $50 Aldi gift cards “to be used to support families needing food support due to the lack of SNAP Benefits in November.” The motions carried with votes recorded as Yes – Kalina, Meyer, Rapp, Schmidt and Way.
The donations were processed through formal resolutions signed by Chair Jerry L. Rapp and attested by Clerk Lenae Roeser. No conditions or matching-fund requirements were recorded in the minutes; the donations were entered as accepted and allocated for the stated purposes.
