"A new police station should be welcoming to residents and visitors," the presentation stated.
Council members referred the matter to the Planning Commission so the station modernization goals can be folded into the Master Plan outreach. Julie Bonello said the first resident survey will go out in January and that questions about modernizing the police facility will be included to gauge community support and priorities; no design, site, or funding decisions were made at the meeting.
