Homewood proclaims Alabama Master Gardeners Week and welcomes 2027 conference

The proclamation said the conference is expected to bring approximately 350 master gardeners to Rosewood Hall, providing an opportunity to showcase the city and promote horticultural education.
Catherine Ennis, who identified herself to the council as president of the Jefferson County Master Gardeners Organization, thanked the city and said the group was excited to bring the event to Homewood. “I am the current president of the Jefferson County Master Gardeners Organization,” Ennis said while introducing other board members; the council presented an honorary membership and posed for photographs after the recognition.
