The Board of Trustees of NEW DIANA ISD voted 5-0 on Aug. 21, 2025, to approve a voluntary separation agreement between the district and Marshall Moore. Cari Roberts moved to approve the separation and Jerry Cobb seconded; the minutes record the motion carried 5-0.
The vote followed a closed session held under provisions of the Texas Open Meetings Act. TJ Shafer called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. in the Administration Board Room at 1381 US Hwy 259 S in Diana. Trustees Donald Willeford, Becky Smith, Cari Roberts and Jerry Cobb were present; Dwayne Leach and Gaylon Davis were not in attendance.
Board minutes state there were no other open-session actions taken after the closed session. The meeting adjourned at 7:27 p.m. The minutes for this special called meeting were later approved by the board on 9/08/2025.
