On construction procurement, staff recommended and the Board approved the Competitive Sealed Proposal method for the Carl Schurz Elementary refresh and the Seele Elementary refresh in accordance with Board Policy (CV) and Texas Education Code 44.035(a). The Carl Schurz decision followed a motion by Steve Minus (second Megan Stratemann-Willis); the Seele decision followed a motion by Nancy York (second Kim Goodwin).
