Superintendent: Urbandale High named a FAFSA-focused School of Achievement

Dr. Adaka, Urbandale’s superintendent, told trustees the district’s high school was selected as one of 46 schools in the state recognized as a “FAFSA focused school of achievement,” praising counseling staff for helping students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
"Our high school was selected as 1 of 46 schools in the state that was recognized as a FAFSA focused school of achievement," Dr. Adaka said. She also reviewed the school calendar, noted a new teacher academy starting in the UHS Media Center, and previewed an all‑staff kickoff and the district theme, "Everyday Matters," for the coming year.
