The city manager (speaker 14) told the council that although statewide sales tax collections were down about 1%, Crossville's collections held steady with a small increase of roughly $3,000–$4,000 compared with last year.
He said Fire Station 1 remains in design and plans are scheduled for review on Oct. 5. He also reminded residents that Holiday Lake will be lowered from November through March and that notices will go out at the end of September. Finally, he encouraged citizens to use the CSA request portal to report potholes, streetlights or signage issues.
The report was given as a routine staff update and no council action was required during the meeting.
