At the Sept. 22, 2025 Peaster ISD Board meeting, Superintendent Dr. Kendra Pittman told trustees the district’s current enrollment is 1,721 students. She said district staff will send a series of family communications in the coming weeks to explain programs and updates for the school year.
Dr. Pittman also reported that Ten Commandments posters were donated for distribution to each classroom across the district. She closed her update by reminding the board and public that the district’s Voter‑Approval Tax Rate Election (VATRE) is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025. The board did not take a policy vote on the posters or the VATRE during this meeting.
