Pewitt CISD opened its April 21 meeting with presentations and recognitions. Taylor Davidson, sponsor of the Junior High GT program, presented students' newspaper-dress projects and children's books created by the program. Later, Coach Russell, assisted by Melissa Rodrigues, presented a PowerPoint review of each athletics season from 2024–25.
Coach Ricky Rodriguez recognized two state powerlifting qualifiers, Gloria Pureco and Champ Bailey. The presentations were listed under the meeting's "Presentations, Recognitions, Awards and Announcements" section and were part of the informational business considered before the executive session.
