Clerk Melody Hall reported that a resolution previously prepared by former President Rogers and routed to Bruner, Cooper and Zook had expired without being updated or submitted. The new resolution corrects the amount for ordering street signs and must be submitted to the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) for approval before signs can be ordered.
Trustee Diane Brown moved to accept the updated resolution and Trustee Cheryl Stevens seconded. The board passed the resolution by roll call and authorized the clerk to forward it to IDOT. Once IDOT approves, staff can place orders for street signs per the updated funding amount.
