Craig Bickers, Trustee (Place #7), moved approval of the Agreement for the Purchase of Attendance Credit and the delegation of contractual authority to the superintendent under the Texas Education Code provisions cited in the motion. "I move to APPROVE the Agreement for the Purchase of Attendance Credit (Option 3 Agreement) and to delegate contractual authority to the Superintendent," Bickers said. The vote on the attendance‑credit agreement and the other financial items was unanimous.
Brittany Floyd, Chief Financial Officer, led the presentation on the local excess revenue contract and the proposed tax rate. The board also approved a district contribution increase to $350 for employee health insurance for the 2025–2026 year. The minutes record no objections to these financial motions.
