Pilot Point ISD board adopts 2025–26 Student Code of Conduct

The Pilot Point ISD Board approved the proposed 2025–2026 Student Code of Conduct during its Aug. 13 meeting. The motion to adopt the code was made by Jacob Stuckly, Trustee (Place #5), and seconded by Justin Chance, Trustee (Place #6); the motion passed unanimously, 7–0.
"I move to APPROVE the proposed 2025-2026 Student Code of Conduct, as presented," Stuckly said when presenting the motion. The code was referenced later in the meeting when Trustee Lora Renfro asked about parent notification for conduct violations; Dr. Brant Perry explained that conduct violations are addressed through the Student Code of Conduct and responded to Renfro's question during the discussion of Agenda Item 9.F.
The minutes do not reproduce the full code language; the board approved the document as presented by staff. Further administrative guidance and implementation will be carried out by campus principals and the district's human resources and student‑discipline staff.
