The Pilot Point ISD Board of Trustees voted to reject consideration of calling a bond election for Nov. 4, 2025, during its regular Aug. 13 meeting. The motion to reject consideration was made by Amy McEvoy, Trustee (Place #2), and seconded by Mandy Kirby. The motion passed unanimously, 7–0.
"I make a motion to REJECT consideration of an order calling a bond election to be held on November 4, 2025," McEvoy stated when offering the motion. The minutes record no subsequent motion to reconsider or additional public testimony on the bond question at this meeting. The board therefore took no action to place a bond proposition on the Nov. 4 ballot.
