Premont ISD board adopts Lone Star Governance goals on literacy, STAAR and staffing

Barrera seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Administrators presented Goal 4 targets for STAAR and EOC performance for grades 3–8 (GPM 4.1, 4.2) as part of the same governance discussion; those measures were approved as presented. The motions carried with no recorded dissent, signaling the board's acceptance of the district's stated assessment and staffing priorities for the coming year.
Board members did not request amendment language during the meeting; administration will implement the approved goals through existing planning channels.
