After a brief executive session on Aug. 10, the Hartford City Council returned to open session and voted to approve a resolution resolving the lawsuit titled Haiti Rivera v. City of Hartford ETAL.
Majority Leader Kelly Bilodeau moved approval of the executive-session resolution; the motion was seconded and the clerk called the roll. The clerk announced the motion carried following affirmative roll-call responses from the members polled.
Council members did not place substantive arguments about the settlement on the public record at the open session; the council described the item as an executive-session matter and then approved the resolution on return to open session.
