Staff highlighted historic preservation and neighborhood identity considerations in design and noted contractors’ attention to site cleanliness and safety during construction.
The board asked about naming processes for buildings within schools; staff said naming recommendations will be brought back later with community committee input. Trustees also raised neighborhood impacts and commended staff for prioritizing replacements that restore green space and improve access.
