At the March 23 work session resident Gary Harden raised concerns about abandoned and dilapidated mobile homes along Massey Road and asked the county to take more aggressive action. County Manager Thomas Weaver responded that the properties in question had already been cited and that the county would impose the maximum fines if owners do not clean the properties.
Weaver told Harden and the commission staff would keep both Harden and the commission updated on enforcement outcomes. The work session also included department updates on water repairs, recreation programming and permits; staff noted a Beaudin CUP is slated for an April meeting and that a prior CUP applicant for the hunting camp had withdrawn.
