Board approves lawn-parking and landscaping variances for proposed church building

Dan Park of Earthworks Group said the congregation has long used the same grassed area for overflow parking and that formal wheel stops would create maintenance burdens. He added the new building would meet ADA requirements and estimated normal Sunday attendance at about 50 people. A public consultant representing a local church thanked the board for consideration. After confirming plans for ADA parking and circulation, the board voted to approve the requested variances with conditions.
