At the start of the meeting the Planning Commission approved the consent agenda by motion and recorded vote, with one abstention.
Committee and staff reports included a summary of a Places29 Community Advisory Committee session where RWSA provided updates and offered tours; MPO technical updates noting significant cost changes in some Smart Scale projects; and staff remarks about a forthcoming form‑based-code ordinance and activity‑center planning work. The commission asked staff to consider in‑room presentations for certain technical topics and directed staff follow-ups where appropriate.
The commission adjourned and set its next meeting for Aug. 25 at 6 p.m.
