The Nutter Fort Fire Department reported it was awarded a grant through Firehouse Subs to purchase three thermal imaging cameras, Fire Chief Jeremy Haddix said during the council's committee reports. Chief Haddix also told the council the department is part of a regional FEMA grant submission to acquire radios and noted that department member Brandon Martin wrote several grants on the department's behalf.
