Dixon Library lays out 2026 lineup from 'read to a dog' to senior tech help

He highlighted recurring programs including a "read to a dog" session for children every Monday from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., a senior technology help drop‑in on the second Tuesday of each month and pop‑in author/pop culture events on the first Thursday of each month.
Ricky also described workshops and one‑off events such as a Backyard Gleaning volunteer activity with Forrester scheduled for Jan. 31 and a chalkboard craft event on Jan. 29. He said several programs require or prefer advance registration and directed residents to solanolibrary.com/events for details. The library is hosting a community input meeting Feb. 5 about a planned Dixon Library renovation and expansion; refreshments will be provided.
