The high-school representative told the board about plans to stage a student walkout and a community parade to send students to state competitions, coordinated with local police and fire departments.
"Tomorrow, towards the end of the day... we're doing a walkout for Chase Guy when he was heading to state and Gabe Steven, who was a state alternate... And then at 06:00, we arranged with the local fire department and police department to do a parade out of town," the high-school representative said. The report also described progress on a new Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) lab (electricians working, cabinets arriving) and that Northwest State will sponsor two in-person CCP social-studies courses pending student interest.
